Botox®

You may be a candidate for Botox® if you have lines or deep grooves along your forehead between your eyebrows, or around the corners of your eyes (crow’s feet) that bother you. Botox injections are a temporary solution for reducing the appearance of lines and can last anywhere from 3-5 months. Dr. Kearney performs Botox injections in the office and there is no anesthetic required and no downtime. You may return to normal activities immediately following your appointment. It usually takes 3-4 days to see the effects of Botox. Botox can also be used to treat overactive sweat glands in the armpits as well as help in the treatment of Migraine headaches. On an occasional patient Botox is used in the mouth area to decease the appearance of vertical lip lines.
