Eyelid Lift Information - Before and After Photos

You may be a candidate for an eyelid lift if you have loose, excess skin hanging from your upper eyelids or if you have excess skin or puffy bags on your lower eyelids. When Dr. Kearney performs upper eyelid procedures, he makes an incision in the natural fold of the lid and removes excess skin and/or fatty tissues. Once healed this incision should be well hidden and difficult to detect. For lower eyelid procedures Dr. Kearney may make the incision just below the lower lashes or just inside of the eyelid, depending on your individual situation. Excess skin and/or fatty tissue is then removed. Like the upper eyelid incision, this one should be well hidden once healed. View before and after photos of eyelid surgery.

Dr. Kearney performs eyelid procedures under local anesthesia with light sedation or general anesthesia depending upon your preference. You may go home the same day. Most patients return to work within 1 week following the procedure and are back to all normal activities within 3-4 weeks.
