You may be a candidate for liposuction (liposculpture) if you have areas of excess fat that bother you. Sometimes even with diet and exercise these localized fatty deposits can remain. Areas where you might carry excess fat include the arms, back, chest, stomach, thighs, hips and buttocks. View before and after photos of liposuction.

Dr. Kearney performs liposculpture under general or local anesthesia and you may go home the same day. Using tiny canulas or suction tubes, Dr. Kearney removes excess fat from the desired areas. Incisions are very small and placed as inconspicuously as possible. Depending on the number of areas treated and the amount of fat removed, you are usually able to return to work a few days after the procedure. Normal activity can often be resumed within a few weeks.
