You may be a candidate for rhinoplasty if your nose is too large for your face; is crooked; is asymmetrical due to previous injury; has a hump on the bridge that bothers you; or if your nasal tip or nostrils are out of proportion. The incisions for rhinoplasty will depend on what part of your nose is being addressed during the procedure and Dr. Kearney will discuss this with you during the consultation. Dr. Kearney will do a computer image of your nose which will help to give you an idea of what your postoperative result will look like.
Dr. Kearney performs rhinoplasty under local or general anesthesia and you may go home after the procedure. Most patients can return to work within 7-10 days following the procedure and are back to most normal activities within 3 to 4 weeks.
