Body Contouring with BodyTite

Liposuction is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures in the U.S. But Dr. Kearney believes in taking traditional liposuction to the next level by adding radiofrequency energy. This is called radiofrequency-assisted liposuction and Dr. Kearney offers it in two procedures — BodyTite™ and FaceTite™ — at his San Diego practice. These procedures use radiofrequency […]

Two Ways to a Tighter Tummy

Unless you’re 21 or are able to spend half of every single day working out, odds are you’re not thrilled with your lower abdomen. Especially as we age, our stomach muscles and support tissues weaken and allow a pooch to form. And don’t even ask what pregnancy and childbirth do to the muscles down there. […]

Tighter Thighs for 2019

Everyone wants to have the slim, tight thighs of their youth. Unfortunately, if you’ve lost a good deal of weight, the skin on your thighs is probably somewhat loose. Even if you didn’t gain and lose weight, some people lose more elasticity in the skin in this area, which can leave you with loose saggy […]

Slimming Your Thighs

Everyone sags more and more as we age. But certain places are more annoying than others…such as your thighs. Loose skin that makes for saggy thighs can keep a person from wearing shorts and swimsuits. And what’s the point of living in the great weather we have in San Diego if you’re worried about hiding […]

Give Your Skin Some Ultherapy

Ponce de Leon was all wrong. The fountain of youth wasn’t some spring back in the swamps of Florida; it was collagen. And it was in his body all along, just in diminishing quantities. Collagen is the protein in the human body that is responsible for building the skin’s support structure. Collagen keeps the skin […]

Two Paths to a Tighter Stomach

Who Put Me in the Wrong Size Skin?

Whether you used bariatric surgery or simple willpower, losing lots of weight is hard work. But now that you’ve lost the weight, your skin didn’t get the memo; it’s still stuck at the old expanded size. And there is nothing you can do about this with exercise. No matter what you do, after being stretched […]

Abdominal Liposuction or Tummy Tuck?

If you’re looking to shape and sculpt the abdominal area, both liposuction and tummy tuck surgery will do the job. But how they achieve their results is quite different. Liposuction Liposuction targets excess pockets of fat such as love handles, spare tires, and muffin tops. It has become the most popular cosmetic surgery in the […]

Our office is now open!

Your health (and ours) is our highest priority so we are making a few changes to our reopening so that you can feel safe and confident coming in to see us. We are of course following all federal and local guidelines such as wearing masks and conducting phone screenings prior to your appointment but we are also implementing the following:

Increasing the frequency of cleaning and sterilization to not only include exam rooms but also the waiting room, restroom, all doors, counters, etc.

Offering multiple hand sanitizer locations throughout the office

Reducing the number of appointments per day as well as our office hours, to limit the number of people in the office, including staff members

Minimizing patient overlap to allow for proper social distancing

Testing all surgery patients for COVID-19 at their pre-operative appointments

Asking patients to leave family members or friends at home, unless they are coming with their primary caregiver. Please leave children at home as well

How can you help?

Come alone to your appointment, unless you need your primary caregiver with you

Please wear a mask or face covering to your visit and keep it on unless you are asked by Dr. Kearney or an RN to remove it

Postpone your visit if you have traveled by air or experienced symptoms in the last 14 days

Use a pen from the holder marked “clean” and put it in the one marked “used” when you’re done

Use the hand sanitizers in our office

In the rare case there is someone at the front desk when you come in please take a seat until we call you and maintain proper distance throughout your visit

Take advantage of our virtual consultations or follow up appointments if it makes you feel more comfortable

Please bear with us as we work to return to our new “normal” and feel free to call or email with any questions. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Sincerely,

Dr. Kearney and staff
